Darien Clothing Co. – Returns & Refunds Policy

Because every Darien Clothing Co. product is made to order just for you, we don’t keep inventory or resell returned items. That means our return policy is a little different from a traditional retail store. Please read the details below before placing your order.

1. Order Issues & Timeframe

If there’s a problem with your order, contact us at tyler.bradham.ironhorse@gmail.com within 30 days of the date your order was delivered (or the date it should have been delivered for missing packages). After 30 days, we may not be able to offer a replacement or refund because our fulfillment partner only investigates issues within that window. Printful

When you reach out, please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging (if damaged or misprinted)


2. Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or with a printing/embroidery error, we’ve got you. Our production partner has a multi-step quality check, but mistakes or shipping damage can still happen. Printful

Once we review your photos and confirm the issue, we will:

  • Replace the item at no cost to you, or

  • Issue a refund to your original payment method if a replacement isn’t possible

We do not ask you to return damaged items in most cases.


3. Wrong Size or Buyer’s Remorse

All of our products are printed on demand, so each item is made specifically for your order. Our fulfillment partner does not accept returns for:

  • Ordering the wrong size

  • Changing your mind / buyer’s remorse

Because of this, our standard policy is:

To help you get the right fit the first time, please:

  • Check the size charts on each product page

  • Read any fit notes (e.g., “runs small / relaxed fit”)

  • Reach out to us if you’re unsure before ordering

If you’d like to be more flexible, you can add a line here later like:
“On a case-by-case basis, we may offer a one-time size exchange. In those cases, the customer is responsible for the cost of the new item and additional shipping.”


4. Incorrect Shipping Address & Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned to our fulfillment partner due to:

  • An incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout, or

  • The package being unclaimed at the pickup point

the order will be held for a limited time. Printful

In these cases:

  • We can reship the order once you confirm the correct address

  • You’ll be responsible for the reshipping cost, since the original address was entered incorrectly

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout to avoid delays or extra charges.


5. Lost Packages

If tracking shows your order as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  1. Check with neighbors/household members and look around the delivery area.

  2. Contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number.

  3. If you still can’t locate the package, email us at tyler.bradham.ironhorse@gmail.com with your order number and tracking info.

We’ll review the case with our fulfillment partner. If the carrier confirms the package is lost or misdelivered, we’ll work with you on a replacement or partial refund, depending on the situation.


6. Non-Returnable Items

Because all items are custom printed when you order them, we generally cannot accept returns except in the situations listed above (damaged/misprinted items or carrier issues). Printful

Gift cards and promotional items are also non-returnable and non-refundable.


7. Refund Processing

If we approve a refund:

  • It will be issued to your original payment method

  • Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider

If you haven’t received a refund after that timeframe, please check with your bank or payment provider first, then contact us.
